Faith in paganism

Roman Catholic faith teaches on "holy" rosary prayer. It is being promoted to be prayed by Catholic families in their home and in some cases also recited inside the Roman catholic building, alleged as "church". But what is being said in the scripture used by the Roman Catholic Alleged Church:

7 “When you pray, do not use a lot of meaningless words, as the pagans do, who think that their gods will hear them because their prayers are long. 8 Do not be like them. Your Father already knows what you need before you ask him. 9 This, then, is how you should pray:

‘Our Father in heaven:May your holy name be honored; 10 may your Kingdom come;may your will be done on earth as it is in heaven;11 Give us today the food we need.12 Forgive us the wrongs we have done, as we forgive the wrongs that others have done to us. 13 Do not bring us to hard testing, but keep us safe from the Evil One.

14 “If you forgive others the wrongs they have done to you, your Father in heaven will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive the wrongs you have done. (Matthew 6: 7-14, GNT).

Is praying too long and repetitious prayer a form of paganism?

Faith in constellation southern cross

( Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) The image of the cross is the most important part of Roman Catholicism. In fact, you could see nuns, priests, bishops, archbishops, and Popes wearing crucifix. Also, by comparison, Christ called the Father in heaven as "Father" but Roman Catholicism is calling the Father in Vatican City as "Holy Father". Faith in mysterious deception

Only truth will set you free when faced with religious deception, which is usually carried through faith in mystery. Thus, a search for it is being required to address the issue, which is inversely related to individual's rights of freedom of choice. In turn, this freedom requires "truth" as a necessity. The less effective the exercise of freedom, e.g due to ignorance, religious arrogance, "untruthful" information, disinterest, tradition, etc., the more the enslavement by religious deception. Its detection will not only need looking at the "truth" but would need individual's personal commitment to study and correct one's belief system, without which, the "truth", despite of its abundance, would be futile and worthless. Faith in non-living icons

Is there a modern-day idolatry within Christianity? Roman Catholic church and the Orthodox Church have icons and iconography as part of their practices and doctrines. Said practices emanated not from early Christians, who were brutalized and killed by the Roman Empire, but from the Roman Empire itself. Is iconography the modern-day idolatry? Like in idolatry, the images in iconography are made by human hands. In all intentions, images, including statues, are made for the purpose of adoring and praising someone or something but excluding God as no person knows the exact image of God. On the other hand, Christ and his mother never furnished anybody their pictures while still living and thereafter, for purposes of identifying exactly their image by adoring individuals. Faith in pedophilia

The word "faith" connotes various meanings depending on what words are accompanying it in a sentence and who uses it. For example, it may mean faith in pedophilia. This is implied in Pope Francis' warning against “administering a vaccine against faith”. Obviously, when he mentioned ‘vaccine against faith”, definitely, he is referring to “faith” as a disease because vaccines are only intended to prevent diseases. But when he further warned against ‘administering’ the vaccine, then he logically means that he is warning against the prevention of a disease. Faith in money

Pope Francis does not like "money" to be idolized. On deeper analysis however , it turns out that he was referring to "greed" in money being constitutive of idolatry. But. is the use of word "idolatry" appropriate for "greed'? Before we discuss this questionable use of word "greed" in "idolatry", let us first quote the report in www.rawstory.com. "Speaking at daily Mass on Monday, Pope Francis condemned the worship of money." "Though money itself was not inherently evil, Francis said the attachment to money lead to destruction of families, friends, and the self". “It leads you to idolatry, it destroys your relationship with others,” he said, according to Radio Vatican. “It’s not money, but the attitude, what we call greed. Then too this greed makes you sick, because it makes you think of everything in terms of money. It destroys you, it makes you sick.”
